energy in ramadan

Pre-Ramadan Nutrition Boost
(1 Hour)

When Ramadan hits, most people have the impression that it’s the time to sleep all day, kick back on the couch and watch the clock tick, or simply look tired and grouchy at work. When in fact, Ramadan should have a positive effect on our mood and energy- if we follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ) properly. This workshop covers treasured tips to maximize energy, boost your mood, and capitalize productivity in the best month of the year.
Is it better to skip suhoor to be less hungry? Is it negatively effective on our energy to drink coffee during non-fasting hours? Does it matter what we eat, since we are fasting all day? How can we possibly have energy when we go to work or school without any food or drink? Can I work out during Ramadan, or is it bad for my muscles? These are all common questions I’ve received in this workshop, which I will discuss deeply.
  • Interactive discussion/trivia prizes
  • Favorite Food Label Discussion (go through several popular items, discuss their harmful ingredients and popular misconceptions, and then converse better alternatives)
  • Handouts for attendees (charts, shopping list guide, and much more)
